ADMISSION PROCESS

Parents who have inquired with us are informed of all the required documents and steps in the admissions process through an email, which includes the exact schedule of application forms. Application forms are issued based on the vacancies existing in the grade applied for in the following year.

Procurement of Application Forms:

The application fee can be paid in cash or by cheque. Cheques must be made in favour of Oberoi International School. Families with more than one child must submit a separate application for each student. The application form and supporting documents must be submitted to the school within seven working days. Required documents include:

  • Attested copy of last three years' school reports, mark sheets.
  • Attested copy of applicant's birth certificate / proof of date of birth
  • Attested copy of applicant's birth certificate / proof of date of birth Original transfer certificate from previous school (before the applicant begins schooling with us)
  • Passport size photographs of the applicant - 2 nos.
  • Address proof (utility bills preferred).
  • Copy of child's passport (first and last page) and preferably parents' passport as well.
  • Relevant certificates regarding any medical concerns; and documents related to special learning needs (if applicable).

    Uniform

    The School prescribes uniforms for all its students. Students are expected to wear polo t-shirts on regular school days and a red-white t-shirt on days of PE. The details of the uniform and the system for their procurement will be provided upon admission to the School.

    Lunch Service

    At Oberoi School we pay utmost attention to the health and hygiene of our students. The food served at the Cafeteria is well planned, quality nutritious food which provides well balanced nourishment to the students. The Cafeteria is handled by Sodexo. View our sample menu.

    Medical Check-up

    OIS has made a concerted effort to put in place a world-class healthcare infrastructure, in keeping with its goal to inculcate good health among its students. HealthSpring Community Medical Centres has partnered with OIS to bring to the school a high-quality, comprehensive student health program, in line with international standards.

    Attendance

    A Student has to put at least 80% of the attendance during the academic year to become eligible to appear for the Annual Examination.
